June 5. There are new updates available for almost all Melodyne editions: Melodyne studio and Melodyne cre8 come as Version 3.2.2.2 now, while Melodyne essential and Melodyne uno have been updated to Version 1.8.1.3. These service updates improve the general stability of the program and contain numerous enhanced details. Among other things, a ReWire problem was fixed that could lead to unexpected behaviour.

All registered users of Melodyne may download the updates free of charge directly from their myCelemony page.

May 21. All current Melodyne versions are fully compatible with the latest update of Apple Logic Pro 8.0.2. Among other improvements the new version is providing a better integration of Melodyne:

• With Logic Pro 8.0.2 our plugin or the MelodyneBridge will now work even at places where there is no audio region on the track or where the underlying region is muted.

• Melodyne is no longer playing at wrong speed when certain time signatures are selected in Logic.

We feel that the already strong team play of Logic Pro and Melodyne is even further improved by the new update in a significant way and we highly recommend the update for all Logic Pro users.

March 12. The pioneering technology Direct Note Access was officially introduced at the Frankfurt Musikmesse today. Celemony mastermind Peter Neubäcker, the inventor of Melodyne, demonstrated how Direct Note Access allows you to access and edit individual notes in polyphonic audio material. March 12. Celemony announces Version 2 of Melodyne plugin at the Frankfurt Musikmesse. The update of the popular audio correction tool will appear in fall, offering as its most important new feature Direct Note Access. Melodyne plugin 2 will be the first product in the Melodyne family to use Direct Note Access. The full version will cost US$399 (349 Euro); the update from Version 1 will cost US$129 (129 Euro). Customers purchasing Melodyne plugin after the 12th March 2008 will receive the update free of charge. More ...

11. Feb 08. A new service update is available for Melodyne plugin: Version 1.0.3 once more optimizes the handling of RAM. The assistant for program activation, which is already known from the other Melodyne editions, is now integrated into the plug-in, too. Furthermore, several minor issues and bugs have been fixed. 17. Sep 07. We have successfully tested the new Logic Pro 8 with our complete product range on Macs with both Intel and PPC processors. The latest AU versions of MelodyneBridge and Melodyne plugin work flawlessly inside Logic 8. In addition to that, Melodyne essential, Melodyne uno, Melodyne cre8 and Melodyne studio can easily run as a ReWire client to Logic 8. For more info please visit the ReWire section in our FAQ.

13. July 07. Coinciding with the new 3.2 versions for the larger Melodyne editions, Melodyne uno and Melodyne essential have also been updated to Version 1.8. The updates are free of charge for all registered users. Both Melodyne uno and Melodyne essential 1.8 feature a new algorithm for percussive material, handy Zoom/Scroll faders, an improved activation system, a free iLok option for uno, and various other improvements and bug fixes. 19. Apr 07. All owners of Melodyne plugin can now purchase Melodyne studio for a special price. If you have a valid plugin serial number, you pay US$/EUR 399 only instead of US$/EUR 699. Unlike a normal upgrade, this copy of Melodyne studio is an add-on, i.e. you can continue to use Melodyne plugin as well. Learn more about this Loyal Offer in our web shop.

2. Apr 07. Melodyne studio has won this year's Musikmesse International Press Award (MIPA) in the category Recording Effects. The MIPA is known as one of the most prestigious awards in the musical instruments and audio software industry. It is based on the vote of more than 100 music magazines from all over the world. The trophy was presented to Celemony at the 8th MIPA Awards Show held during the Frankfurt Music Fair (Musikmesse) in March. We wish to cordially thank the jury.

6. Feb 07. Today the onethousandth Melodyne user has registered to our Online Forum. Christoph Lukasser from Austria/Europe works as an IT teacher and runs a recording studio for 12 years now. "For my studio work, Melodyne has become an indispensable tool. In my lessons, the pupils work on this project called The school grooves. We try to create rhythms made of sounds from the school environment (gym balls, heating room noises etc.). This would not be possible without Melodyne!"

1. Feb 07. Two awards right away for Melodyne studio: Our software wins the Remix Technology Award in the Audio Editor category as well as the 2007 Editor's Choice Award by Electronic Musician. Both awards were presented on this year's NAMM Show in California. Many thanks to the jury!

16. Jan 07. Here is another Melodyne Sound Library: the DVDs "the voice vol. 1" and "the voice vol. 2" contain hundreds of first-class choral phrases by male and female singers.
