Andy Gray

Andy Gray started his career as a programmer and engineer for synthesizers and samplers. He worked together with Paul Oakenfold for many years and wrote a lot of tracks in that team. Many of his songs ended up on movies: Bourne Identity, Collateral, Natural Born Killers, Zoolander – mostly car chases and action cues, which got him more into the film work. He started work on the score for the big film Swordfish right after he scored two other movies: Timecop II and Steal.

His current band Fatal are finishing up an album for release in 2011, the music could be described as gritty dark electronic/alternative rock vibe. Some of the album tracks have found their way on to US film tracks and TV. And when it comes to music for TV shows, one shouldn't forget that Andy composed the theme song for UK's version of Big Brother.

Another big passion for Andy is recording bands and especially live instruments. He has worked with some great people over the years as a producer, programmer and remixer under the name Grayedout – among them U2, Tori Amos, Gary Numan, Liz Fraser, Ian Brown, Madonna, Human League, Radiohead and Korn. The most recent projects as a producer are Enter Shikari and Hard-Fi.
