Guy Sigsworth

Producer and songwriter Guy Sigsworth grew up surrounded by classical music, leading him to study the harpsichord at the Utrecht Conservatorium in the Netherlands. When he returned to the UK, he heard Acid House on pirate radio stations and decided to try this brand new flavor. He met Seal, who also was into Acid music at that time, wrote songs for him, and got to know Trevor Horn.

Talvin Singh, a virtuoso tabla player, introduced him to Björk. Guy played in her live band and became her Musical Director for two tours. At that time, he also had his own project with singer Imogen Heap called Frou Frou. People heard his music, got in touch, and as a consequence he made records with Madonna, Britney Spears and many others.

Guy likes Melodyne editor for its potential to do far more than tuning vocals and fixing recordings, and he encourages every user to involve the program as early as in the writing process.
