MelodyneBridge in Mac OS X 10.7 and 10.8

 

Under Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion) and 10.8 (Mountain Lion) Melodyne studio 3.2.2.2 (32-bit) works fine using the MelodyneBridge in Logic Pro 9.1.x, but you need to follow these steps:

  • Upon starting of Logic a failure message is shown, stating that the MelodyneBridge hasn't passed the AU validation.
  • Open the AU Manager and check the left box in front of the MelodyneBridge. Then hit OK.

  • Now you will find MelodyneBridge in the list of plug-ins in the Incompatible category, but apart from this new location you can use the Bridge in the same way and without retractions as you did with OS X 10.6.

Please note: upon each Logic re-launch you first need to take this little detour to the AU Manager.
