Melodyne, Capstan and Mountain Lion

Compatibility with Mac OS X 10.8

Apple’s new operating system Mac OS X 10.8 (aka Mountain Lion) has just been released in July. We are pleased to confirm that all current Melodyne editions and Capstan run on OS X 10.8 without any problems.

Please note: If you use Melodyne as a plug-in, you should obviously make sure that your DAW’s manufacturer has also confirmed compatibility with Mountain Lion. Furthermore, your audio interface needs to be compatible. Please check for latest drivers.

If you wish to use Melodyne studio via the MelodyneBridge in Apple Logic, you need to follow these guidelines.

If you plan to install one of our programs on a new Mountain Lion system for the first time, please download the latest installer from your myCelemony account first. This is to avoid any error messages with older installers. (If for any reasons you still have to use an older installer, you can work around Apple’s error message by right-clicking the installer, selecting Open and confirming with Open.)
