    Hi.

I'm trying to edit some library loops of electric guitar material with Melodyne Editor 2.1. I would like to extend the length of some of the guitar notes. But while I can pull the notes beyond the visible length of the loop, once the playback cursor in Studio 1 Version 2 hits the end of the original loop (i.e. where the grid background in Melodyne turns from white into grey) the audio portion extended beyond that length goes silent.

    Thanks.

    Hello macwriter,

After extending your samples, rightclick the time grid in Melodyne and select Set Replace Ranges to Notes. Does this work? If not, I suppose you need to add some “silent audio” in Studio One to have the audio engine render a few more seconds? But I’m not really a Studio One expert.

Alternatively, have you also tried opening your loops in the standalone program of Melodyne and work from there?
