    Melodyne assistant
I'm currently using Melodyne Assistant (v2.0.1 (b 5 ) 64 bit with Logic Express (v9.1.7) in Rewire mode and I'm having issues getting the tempo in my Melodyne Assistant window to sync up with Logic Express after a simple tempo change in my material (tempo change from 110 bpm to 126 bpm half-way through the song). Is this functionality supported by Melodyne Assistant standalone? I know that it's possible to import a MIDI grid into Melodyne Studio to line up the tempo to a MIDI file (I've been recording along to MIDI files so this would be an easy solution). Unfortunately I don't think that's an option for Melodyne Assistant.

Basically I can get my audio to sync up if I specifically set the tempo to 110 bpm but then the second half of the song is completely out of sync (since it thinks the entire song has a bpm of 110). Does anyone know of any workarounds to my problem or is this more a feature not included in the Rewire connectivity of Melodyne standalone?

    Thanks,

    Hello thebartytone,

May I ask why you are not using the AU plug-in of Melodyne? It would probably make things a little easier.

Anyway, if you add a tempo change after you have already transferred an audio track to Melodyne, the corresponding blobs will obviously run out of sync. In this case, you can make Melodyne redetect the song tempo in the Tempo dialog. See here for details.
