Hello, I have pro tools 8 le and ever since i got it, I have not been able to get Melodyne to work. I cant get anything to show up in it. I added it to the audio track, pressed left or right input and set the audio in preferences to mbox 2. I then selected use as rewire ( and sometime not as rewire). The record button is not lit up under rewire and nothing plays. And when I use it as not rewire I can play the clip but cant record anything. I downloaded the most current off of celemony. please help. Thanks Lou.

welcome to the forum. Can you please check, which exact Melodyne version you have? There is no ReWire option in the latest version, since Melodyne essential is now a true RTAS plug-in. Also, do you know these Melodyne essential videos? They also explain the basic steps to get you going. See the Transferring audio material video, for example.

Hello, I have completely given up with Melodyne on pro tools 8 le. I have uninstalled everything that is celemony. I am using logic 8 for all my recording now any how. How do I use the Melodyne editor demo and link that with logic pro 9. I have loded the demo off of the celemony site and did make sure that all the old celemony products were uninstalled, per your uninstall page. Thank you so kindly... Lou.

after installing, the Melodyne editor demo should turn up under your AU plug-ins in Logic. You can simply insert it in a mixer channel slot. Please let us know, if you need further assistance.
