    Hi,

isn“t it possible to detect sibilants which are combined with blobs containing also vowels? There should be a way to make an automatic note separation for sibilants because those noise type consonants always sound grainy when pitch shifted. It is very time consuming to separate them manually from the rest of the blob.

    Cheers,
    Andreas

I agree - it is INCREDIBLY time consuming! I do not understand why Melodyne cannot do this automatically, seeing as it recognises already the audio that has no pitch and does not assign a note-line to it - could Melodyne not simply 'lock' any audio that has no note-line? It seems it has already done the maths and simply needs a macro to perform the operation itself.
