     Post subject: Fatal Error/Melodyne

    Melodyne studio
    every time i work with multiple tracks or do extensive tuning or drag to make a harmony or try to correct detection in Melodyne i get a message that pops up saying "Fatal Error- Melodyne detected in internal inconsistency and should be restarted to avoid data loss" my only options then are to try to save or quit.....this happens pretty much when i do anything in Melodyne so i pretty much cant do anything any help is greatly appreciated

    Hello,

    Sorry for the troubles. Which Melodyne edition and version is this? Do you use the standalone program or the plug-in? If it is the plug-in, which DAW are you using to host Melodyne? Which OS?

    Also, how much RAM have you got? What kind of files are you trying to edit, i.e. full length tracks vs. short snippets, polyphonic vs. monophonic?

    Can you find us a crash log? See also this thread.
