Im running the latest of everything in the attempt to make the jump to Lion. So far Melodyne has been problematic. There's the issue of missing data, which I realize is due to me being on another drive. Then there is the issue of Melodyne not liking stereo files. It won't play back older songs even after I relocate the missing wave file. And, when processing a fresh new stereo file it crashes Logic after the transport is stopped, or, just freezes. Are there some preferences I should possibly delete that might clear up some of this erratic behavior or does anyone have any tips? Thanks!

    Hello Davey Boy,

Do you know these general tips already? Are they of any help?

You could also try to trash the Melodyne preferences (or move them to a different location first, if you just want to check if that is part of the issue). On a Mac, the preferences are stored in:
    {your user name} > Library > Preferences

There are two preferences files for Melodyne editor:
    • com.celemony.Melodyne editor.plist
    • com.celemony.MelodyneEditor.standalone.plist

If this doesn’t help either, please contact our support team with more details. Thanks.

Looks like I got it working after uninstall and install 3.2.2.2 from site. Still get the failed/crashed validation in AU Manager but seems OK. Have not worked extensively with it yet.

    tomuttaro,

This thread is about Melodyne editor, not Melodyne studio 3.2. I have already replied in your other thread. No double posts please.

Thanks for the info. I'll try deleting prefs. So far things are working ok in terms of new projects. I do make a habit of bouncing Melodyne tracks during each session so am less worried about legacy projects working. Keep up the good work!

Also, for new Lion users, one must hold down the option key and then go to the "Go" menu in the finder in order to access the user/library folder. At first I thought it had disappeared until I read about that.
