Hi,
Running Melodyne v.1.3.0/OS 10.5.8/PT HD v. 8.0.1cs2...
I'm unable to resize the Melodyne window. The resizing arrow does appear in the lower right hand corner, but it does nothing when I try to drag and more the corner elsewhere, the window stays unmoved.
I trashed Melodyne prefs (except for "com.celemony.MelodyneSingletrackLicenser"), but it didn't help.
Any ideas? Thanks for your help!...

Hello Arthur,
First, make sure you drag the resizing arrow and not the GUI itself (like in the stand-alone variant of Melodyne). You won’t immediately see the window resize, but after releasing the mouse button, the window will adapt to the new size. Live resizing simply isn’t possible in Pro Tools.
Does this help?

Hi Claudio,
Thanks for your quick response. Followed your instructions to the letter, but no love...
The standard looking arrow curser doesn't even turn into the Melodyne kind of downwards and right pointing arrow till you get right into the resize corner of that window, so it's almost foolproof in that sense. Nope, the window is simply "frozen" and won't budge....
I also tested this on my MBP rig and the plugin behaves exactly how you describe it....
There's gotta be something specific to this particular rig. Could it be some kind of strayed/corrupted leftover from the previous versions of the plug-in, as I was practically on all of them from day one?... I remember you used to change the size by going to the plug in Prefs, typing in the resolution, closing and reopening the window, etc... but then again, I trashed all I could find expect for the receipts and the one pref, I mention below...
Thanks for your help!

Hey Arthur,
Which Melodyne edition (editor, assistant, or essential) is this? And could you please doublecheck if this is version 1.3? Thanks. Also, is this PT HD 8.0.1cs2 on both of your systems?

Hey Claudio,
The one that's problematic is this one:
Melodyne Editor v.1.3.0/G5 PPC/OS 10.5.8/PT HD v. 8.0.1cs2...
The one that behaves as it should...
Melodyne Editor v.1.3.0/MacBook Pro/OS 10.6.8/PT Native v.10.01.58... and speaking of this one, there is an unrelated issue with it, which I'd like to discuss with you off list. Is there a way to shoot you a direct email please?...
Thanks for your help, Claudio.

Hello Arthur,
You may send your direct e-mail request to support AT celemony DOT com. Meanwhile, I will check with the team what might be going on with your window resizing issue.

Hello again,
Just learned from our clever support team that on the older G5, resizing only takes effect after you close and re-open the plug-in window once. Could you please try that and report back?

Hi Claudio, BINGO!... clever guys, indeed! That did the trick!... now that you said it I too remembered that in the previous versions that's exactly what you had to do: type in the desired window resolution, then close and reopen the window... What threw me off was that in the previous versions there was no "drag the corner" to resize the window thingy, while in v.3 it's "officially" there, so that's what I fixated on! lol.... Good work! When I become a voting member of NARAS, I'll put in for a new Grammy category: "Tech Support", so you guys will have two! I'll address my other issue via tech support link you provided. Big THANKS to you and all for your swift, and clever, help!....
