i just got Melodyne editor v1.2.1 vst. im using it with cubase 5. does this serve as a plugin into cubase 5? or do i need Melodyne bridge in order to import into audio from cubase to Melodyne. im new at this and pretty confused. also my Melodyne dosent seem to have come with a bridge...help!

the MelodyneBridge is a plug-in that connects a DAW with Melodyne studio. Your Melodyne editor edition, however, can work as both a plug-in and a standalone program. No bridge required.

Please note that we have tested the latest Melodyne editor version with Cubase 6 only. See also our compatibility list.
