    Hi

I have Downloaded and installed Melodyne on My Windows 7 64 Bit PC the installation went fine and I can open the product as a standalone.

When I try to select Melodyne as a VST plugin in A track in Sonar it is not showing up there.

Could anyone please advise as I really like the look of this product and would like to get it tested and purchased

    Thank you

    Thomas

    Thank you for your reply

I have installed Melodyne Editor trial version as a Plugin in Sonar it has installed to the correct VST folder and the scan picks it up ok.

So I think the Installation is ok, I think it is my lack of Knowledge now perhaps

Normaly when I want an effect I right click in My Fx bin in the track I am editing and select from the Plugins there , but Melodyne is not there to select.

The guide you pointed me to says Melodyne works as a track insert. Operation as a clip based effect or calling it up in the "Process" menu are not supported.

That is what I am unsure of in Sonar am I doing it the wrong way?

    Would appreciate some help please
    Thank you

    Thomas

    Hello Thomas,

the FX bin in the track is the correct place to search for Melodyne.
My VST plugin (64 Bit) is here:
    C://Programs/Common Files/Steinberg/VST2

and I have added this folder in Cakewalk Utiliy menu/Cake Plugin Manager -> VSt Configuration/Options
