I open Fl. I find a vocal track I have recorded. I might solo it, or mute all other tracks. I open up Melodyne Bridge as a VST. I click on record, I press play on
FL. Melodyne records it in the track I choose like it should.

At this point everything is great. I can even adjust the notes etc. in Melodyne and they play
on FL Studio or Ableton no problem. Sounds good.

But if I let force of habit take me over, which it always does I press SPACEBAR (to play) while the
Melodyne window is open (while I'm editing the notes), to test as I'm moving along
and to hear my edits before going back into FL. Next thing I know BAM!! Right after I press
spacebar to play A message comes up saying that this is not working properly
(not sure on exact message but it's the basic windows program crash thing).

There is no doubt in my mind it crashes when I hit spacebar to listen to the tunes in Melodyne (
while in bridge mode after editing a track that was recorded in).

-this does not happen outside of bridge mode it works great and never freezes otherwise.
-this has happened in Fl Studio and Ableton

-my system specs are AMD Quad Core 2.6 2mb cache, 8GB ram 800mhz, 7200 rpm hardrive ,GeForce GT 220 Video Card - 1024MB DDR3
Windows 7, had the latest version of Ableton, and the second to last FL Studo Update.

welcome to our forum. So it's only Melodyne that crashes? Or FL Studio or Live, too?

What audio hardware and driver do you use? Is Windows 7 running in 32- or 64-bit? When you open the Task Manager and watch the RAM/CPU load while Melodyne crashes, do you see anything peculiar?

FL , Live don't crash when this happens. Just Melodyne.

EMU E DSP Soundcard 1010PCI 0202I/O . 24 bit 192k but I usually run it in 44 or 48.

I use the most up to date EMU driver as EMU ASIO. They don't make any newer drivers. But this has no problems with anything else.

Win 7 64 bit.

I'll have to check the cpu load when it crashes. and get back to you. I have 8 Gigs of ram (ddr2) Quad core 2.6 amd. it's hard for me to believe it's a ram problem
I barely have anything loaded, and have barely any other programs running. unless this is a DDR2 thing?

It always happens too. It's not occasional. It's exactly the same every time. I haven't noticed a diff if I have more or less tracks etc.
I open it in Bridge and everything works great, but if I hit SPACEBAR all is lost (not literally it does let me save it!).

ok so i checked out the CPU/RAm load and everything was practically identical, the bridge, Melodyne, and FL were all the same except for 100 KB. MY FL was at 950,000 though but this happens when I have barely anything on there.

I forgot to say it also give me "there has been an internal inconsistency..." message
