Here's what's happening:

When I try to transfer 5-10 seconds of a stereo file, Melodyne crashes every single time, when the transfer progress circle is 2/3rds of the way around. This happens every time at exactly the same place on the transfer wheel. It happens in single track stand alone, too.

I'm using version 1.3 with Pro Tools 10 native (lastest update). I've got 2 CPUs at 85%, buffer is 1024. I'm running OS X 10.6.8 with a 2.33 Intel Core 2 Duo and (sadly) 3 GB of ram. I know that this is less than the min req. for Melodyne, but 5-10 sec of stereo audio shouldn't be that taxing, plus it was working fine with PT 8. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to get this working.

Many thanks to Jörge's quick response which fixed the problem!

I had already tried reinstalling Melodyne so I was skeptical that the solution below would work, but it did:

"Please delete the "Melodyne singletrack" preferences under

[macintosh hd]/[users]/[- your user account -]/[library]/[preferences]

The two files in question are:

com.celemony.Melodyne singletrack.plist
com.celemony.Melodyne.singletrack.plist

Next shut down your Mac and restart it after a short break. After this try to use Melodyne again in ProTools and let me know if this made a difference"
