I am just learning Melodyne, and had hoped it would be possible to customize macros rather than just use pre-set grids. Is this possible? What I am looking for is a way to set a timing macro with an existing audio file, kind of the way Notator on Atari could read a tap to set the quantization groove. Thanks, Hans
In our multi-track edition Melodyne studio you can use the macro to quantize your audio to a reference track. But this is not available in the singletrack editions.
So the on-line description of Melodyne Assistant as having "macros" for timing correction is just regular quantization grids: 1/4, 1/4t, 1/8, 18t, etc.? It is just what elsewhere is called quantization? No customization of the timing layout?
