Melodyne plugin

As you all know playing solos are often all about improvising. I like to go with the flow and just play what i feel. Which can be problematic if you do not have super ears. It is one thing to enable loop record and just play a series of licks that tends to vary on every record pass. I find that more fluent and musical than stopping to write down every note as soon as i figure them out. Thanks to Melodyne i can play whatever i want. Load the audio into the plugin when i am done and look at the music notes. Then all i have to do is write it all down on paper have it for future reference whenever i have to play it again. Wow! I even find myself doing it for bass.It is so wonderful not having to worry about midi so much. I can play real bass in, quantize and do as i please thanks to Melodyne. All my future music will benefit from this plugin. I don't care how perfect i try to be plucking strings always seem to play a slight tone higher or lower. With Melodyne i can EASILY go in and shift notes up and down a couple cents and bring some notes closer to perfect. Not to mention just going in targeting string noise in some parts, splitting the note and just reduce the noisy portion. I don't even worry about playing a piece 5 times to get the perfect take. Once i record and know that i can fix the mistakes i hear with Melodyne. That is it. I save myself the time and misery and do the easy edits. That is what a software is suppose to do. It is suppose to work perfectly and save us time.
