Tracktion 5 integrates ARA
Melodyne essential included
Good news for all Tracktion users. As Tracktion Software Corporation (TSC) has just announced, Tracktion 5.3.14 now supports our Audio Random Access (ARA) technology for a seamless Melodyne integration. It also comes bundled with a free copy of Melodyne essential.
By integrating the ARA capability, Melodyne users will benefit immediately from an increased workflow speed. The audio transfer can be dispensed with, and the Melodyne plug-in behaves as part of the Tracktion platform, allowing the exchange of information about the audio file, tempo, pitch, rhythm and much more. Melodyne functions as if it were native to Tracktion’s editing environment.
“We’re extremely pleased to be able to offer our users such a powerful upgrade,” exclaimed TSC’s James Woodburn. “We’ve always admired the power and intuitive operation of the Melodyne plug-in and find it an ideal fit for the Tracktion 5 community.”
Following Studio One by Presonus and Sonar X3 by Cakewalk, Tracktion 5 is now the third Digital Audio Workstation to support the ARA technology. ARA enhances the common audio plug-in interfaces and works with Melodyne editor, Melodyne assistant, and Melodyne essential. Tracktion users can either use ARA with their existing copy of Melodyne or make use of the Melodyne essential bundle that comes with Tracktion 5.
“We are very excited to welcome Tracktion among the first DAWs that integrate the forward thinking ARA technology,” adds Stefan Lindlahr, Product Manager at Celemony. “We encourage every Tracktion fan to get creative with the bundled Melodyne essential.”
