As a member of the Celemony development team, Stefan brings his studio experience and ideas to the design of Melodyne. From his masterclasses you can learn first-hand how to make skillful use of Melodyne. The emphasis, naturally, is on editing vocals, but the classes go way beyond that. At the IMSTA Festa in London, you can take part in two free masterclasses:
11:30 AM and 2:30 PM – Melodyne basics
- Top 5 workflow tips for a quick start
- What to change, how to change it, and what to leave untouched
- The macros: They’re quick, but how good are the results?
- Choosing the right algorithm
- Working intuitively with vocal harmonies
1:00 PM, 4:00 PM and 5:15 PM – Melodyne advanced
- How do we actually perceive pitch?
- Should you trust the inspector values or not?
- Note separations – sometimes needed, sometimes not
- Note Assignment mode, Tempo and Sound Editor – all rocket science?
Between the half-hour masterclasses, Ulf Kaiser from Melodyne’s support team will be available to answer your questions. Ask whatever’s on your mind – an opportunity to discuss Melodyne in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Pick up tips, learn new tricks, and get all the help and background info you need!
